Problem with newly acquired capture card (3 days)

Hello,
I received my classic ds with capture card installed Saturday 24th June.
And today Tuesday 27th June something is already wrong :
While the capture card is still plugged in, the screen of the recording sofware goes white, the game still runs on the ds and is fine, but it keeps going white on the software. When removing and plugging back the cable in both the usb side and the capture card side, it works again for a little while then goes white again... (sometimes it's a matter of seconds, other times it lasts 10+ minutes).
It worked fine for the first three days, now this keeps happening.

Needless to say I'm not pleased with what is happening. What can it be ? Is it the software ? Is the cable you provided the problem ? Or is it the capture card in itself ?

Hi Florian

At least it sounds strange.
Do you have a USB disconnecting sound with the white screen?
To diagnose, I would go first with a different cable also plug the Capture Card into a different USB port at you PC.
Next step would be to try at a different PC.

After that, I would assume that there is something wrong with the Capture Card or your console.

Hi,
I have no usb disconnecting sound when it goes white, and I have already changed usb ports. I'll try on a different pc and with a new cable and wait a few days to see if it fixes itself.
