new 3DS XL, C Stick faulty

Hi Merki, you installed the capture modification on my new 3DS XL console last year, it works great, however I only noticed now that the C Stick is faulty, I had always thought since I bought the console on release day that the C Stick was hard to use but I only just realised that is is clearly faulty now since I got a new 2DS XL and the C stick works flawlessly. Since it is now modified I can't send it off to Nintendo for repairs, I'm quite annoyed I didn't realise this sooner and I'm very regretful for not sorting it out.
Is it at all possible if I can send it your way and you can repair it?

If you just bought the Capture Card, there is no warranty for your console, if you got a complete Set off me, then you got a 2 year warranty on the complete set.
If not, you will have to pay for the repair and shipping.

I was wondering, is it possible for me to be able to do this myself? I have a new C Stick that I can use from a PSP in my posession. I don't want to break it, but I don't have much money to spare which would cover postage and the repair.

Theoretically you can do everything by yourself, but there is always something you can break...
How should I tell if you will manage this or not..

I haven't started but I've seen some videos of the system being taken apart, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJ-u0JnbyHY&t=409s In regards to this one would I hit any roadblocks along the way? Is there much different? Of course I know that the actual circuitry you installed will be present.

the USB port is going through the hole of the bottom cover, the Capture Card is fixed with double sided adhasive tape. So you have to be careful by opening it and also by putting it back together...
There is nothing more I can say.
This is already taking too much of my time to discuss things that you have to decide by yourself or let me do the repair...
