3DS-Capture Card Won't Turn On

Recently I recieved my brand new 3DS with the capture card and controller mod, all purchased and installed by Merki.

At first glance, everything looked amazing, especially the unexpected packet it of haribo.

However, I went to use it and turn it all on for the first time today, and it won't turn on. The charging light comes on when charging, but it's now fully charged and still won't power on.

Not even a flicker from the blue light, and nothing on the screen. Can anyone please help? I would love to avoid the trouble of sending it back, as it's not been cheap so far, and I was really excited to start streaming with this.

Sorry to hear that, but every device is tested to work and capture and the Controller Mod is working too, so this is very strange.

Disconnect everything and take everything out game cartridge and SD-Card and Game controller if installed.
Did it ever power on?

Really? That's strange then.

I tried turning it on straight out of the box, and nothing at all, no blue light or screen flicker.

Firgured the battery was flat and in need of a charge, so fully charged it and still no luck.

I will say that the power button compared to my other (non-modded) 3DS seems "further in" the case if that makes sense? and seems less "clicky" but thought that might be a result of where it's been modded.

It is strange, since it worked here, and I did test yours as I do test always all of them!
From here I can't think of what it would be...
