[Support Solved] Help with capture 3DS

Good morning,

My name Abdon Viñez, and for one day I have the capture 3DS.
The package arrived to my home in perfect condition, and on the agreed date, so I thank you, but I have a number of problems or issues that do not run my capture, I present you step by step what I do with components, that you tell me which may be my problem.

1 - 2.0 I connect the cable to a connector (is it worth putting it on a 3.0? )

2 - I connect the sound cable to the computer's microphone jack .

3 - I install the drivers that I come into your CD- ROM .

4 - Start the program 3ds_capture .

5 - I connect the wires to the N3DS .

Acts everyone steps , the program does not collect any kind of image or audio .

I installed some updates from the computer , my computer is windows 7 .

What could be wrong?

The settings of video and audio is this:

Video Settings :
Microsoft Video 1 .

Sound Settings :
Microphone realtek high definit

I need your help to run the grabber.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION :

My windows 7 does not automatically download when you are missing drivers , so you may not have installed the drivers needed to run the capture .

Would I would do a favor and give me a link to download the drivers , or spend the file?

PD:This has nothing to do, but also I would like to say that I have Fraps and Camtasia.

Ok, lets start:

1. There is no difference if you use USB 2.0 or USB 3.0, mostly it's even more problematic with USB 3.0, so better stay with USB 2.0
2. Microphone jack is fine for the first test, (in Wíndows this Port is normally is set to monitoring so you can listen over your Speakers to the sound as well). But if you want your voice as well then Line in would be better.
3. Normally you don't have to install anything with Windows 7. But you can help your System and with the Drivers you can see your device showing as "3DS Capture" under Management.
4. This is alway necessary, this Program is taking the stream off your Capture Card.
5.

- The steps are all good, but in some cases the Problem is with the USB-Ports. Please try to insert the USB-Cable in the back of your Computer directly to the Mainboard.
- The Sound will not be recorded inside the 3ds_capture Program, this you have to do for example with the Audio-Recorder coming with Windows. Or you use Dxtory for recording the Screens and Sound, Dxtory can record couple of Audiostreams at the same time.
- The Drivers are at the FAQ Site and are also linked to the Manufacturer-Site

Hello Tecd0c,

I just put the usb cable in the 2.0, then turn on 3ds_capture program and connect the cable to the 3ds, and does nothing at all, not take the picture.

On the audio, I saw the program I recommend you have to buy, I have already purchased Camtasia studio, is valid?

By going to the device manager tells me this:

No drivers are installed for this device. (Code 28)

There is no driver selected for the set or device information element.

To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver.

I give update driver, and I said no versions, and to contact the creator.

Can it be that I have to do it manually?

If so, do I would do please tell me where I can download it?

On the CD there are two Folders:

3ds_Driver - in this Folder you can tell Windows to use the Drivers if it can't find any
3ds_Driver_Installer - in this Folder there is a Installer, just klick on the file and execute and it will install it - do a restart after.

Did you plug your cable in the backside USB-Ports of your Computer?
