I was wondering, does the installation of capture card on the new 3DS XL makes any function unavailable?

I'm asking that because if I remember correctly, an other manufacturer was offering new 3DS capture cards, when they weren't available to purchase from merki yet, and his installations needed some of the new 3DS functions to be "erased". I don't remember exactly which, but like the pedometer and/or infrared.

Is it the case for merki's new 3DS capture cards? or are every functions being kept intact?

All functions will be still available after the modification with our product
